You know those times when you need a "pick-me-up"? You know what I am talking about. Sometimes we get into a slump and don't know how to pivot to a better feeling place.

And for those of you who know how the Law of Attraction works, staying in that slump and focusing only on what you don't want in your life is only going to make you feel worse AND most of all will attract more of the same!

So, I came up with this coaching offer that I thought would be a great option for people like yourself, who may not be ready to hire a coach on a monthly basis, but just needs a motivational coach on the spot.

I call this Maria "Mojo" Coaching, because I am often told by clients and many of my social media followers that my positive energy (my "mojo") is contagious, and that just by reading some of my posts or attending one of my teleconferences, their mood shifts to a better feeling place .. just like that!

So, here you go ... a chance to work with me in laser way ... where the coaching sessions are brief, high energy and off-the-charts motivational, with an intention to set you on that better feeling path so that you can start attracting more of what you do want into your life instead of continuing to attract the same old crap! (Yeah ... I said it. Isn't that how you feel sometimes?!!)

If you want a pick-me-up, just click the paypal button below and as soon as I get your payment we will get this party started! You can purchase just 1 laser session or you can purchase up to 6 laser coaching sessions. It's up to you!

I'm here to help you be Lovin' Life, despite life's bumps in the road. That's my mission. That's what I am passionate about and that is what I am intending for you!

"Happiness is an inside job.

You don't have to measure it.

You just have to be it, choose it, embrace it!"

Recently one of my Facebook connections shared this link where a palliative nurse recorded the top five regrets of the dying. When I read it, it made me realize that this is why I do what I do! This is why I am a Happiness Coach & a Motivational Speaker. I want to have a profound positive impact on the quality of people's lives while they are still on this earth so that they have no regrets (or at least few regrets) when that time comes. My motto ... live with no regrets! Just learn from the events in your life that didn't quite go as planned and make better decisions in the present moment, so that your future is impacted in a positive way!

Regrets don't feel good, so from a Law of Attraction standpoint, that's not a good thing. If it doesn't feel good and you continue to feel it, you will continue to attract more things into your life that will not feel good! Makes sense, right?

Many people tell me that they work so hard with little to no rewards or that they are living their life based on what others expect them to do or be, but not what their heart and soul is telling them to do.

I also have people tell me that they are not truly expressing their feelings - that they are "holding back" what they really feel?

Do any of these things sound like YOU?

Please take a moment right now to decide, really decide, that your happiness is the most important thing - that being happy and following your heart's desires will positively impact every single area of your life. And best part, if you decide this right now, you are paving the way for a more joyous future, one in which you won't have regrets, you will just feel blessed that you are living the life your heart and soul wants you to.

And if you already have regrets, you must make a choice right now to leave those things in the past. Don't keep on bringing the past into your NOW and making it relevant. Ok, you feel like you have made some mistakes. So what? Have you learned from them? Are you using what you learned to make a better future? That's the most important thing. That's the only thing that should be the takeaway from past mistakes. And here's a re-frame that I am sure you have already heard: It's not a mistake, it's a lesson. And you can leverage that lesson to your advantage for your future!

The key to living a life filled with joy instead of regrets is to live in the present moment and appreciate every morsel of your life that is a blessing. You know which aspects of your life this entails ... the ones that put a smile on your face each and every day. There are blessings and positive aspects of our lives that we often neglect to give attention to. Why? Because we are too focused on what is NOT working in our lives. We are too focused on what we lack, what we don't have yet. But that is not going to make you happy. It's just going to keep you feeling stuck. Is that what you want?

If you feel you are working too hard, re-evaluate your situation. Start including some "me time".
And don't tell me that you can't do that. You can. You are just choosing to tell yourself a story that you can't do it. But, what's more important - the quality of your life and how happy you are in any given moment OR how much you work and work really hard? What's going to matter on that last day you are here on this earth?

If you are living your life for someone else, doing things that they want to do, but not living life for you .. how's that working for you? I've invested in 2 coaching schools and have gone through a specialized training to also become a Certified Life Coach for Doctors. I'm not going to lie to you ... I invested a lot of money in my coaching education. Depending on what schools you go to and how long you train for, you can invest quite a bit before you even get your first client. But I think that this type of approach is backwards, especially in this economy.

If you did your research on the internet you would find that many Life Coaches don't earn the greatest income ... at least not one to support themselves. And I decided a while ago, that I am here to change that! I've struggled with making decent money in the coaching industry. And I think that one of the main reasons for this is that many of the coaching schools do NOT teach you how to make the money and grow your business, they just teach you how to be a great coach and the skills you need to develop in order to be great at what you do.

Now, don't get me wrong, this is VERY important -- I am grateful for the schools that I attended and feel that I am an even better coach as a result of that training. At the same time, I would have preferred to start the journey in a different order -- where I learned from someone who has been there how to grow my coaching business and start making the money right away and then back myself up with the best coach training out there.

Look ... coaching isn't for everyone. You know if you are the person who would be a great coach. First and foremost, it has to resonate with you on every level -- where you want to help others achieve their greatest goals and dreams; where you want to teach people how to maintain a positive attitude, even during those times of adversity; where you want to help other people in such a profound way, where it alters their life path for the better, beyond their wildest expectations! You also need to be the type of person that LISTENS MORE than talks; someone who knows the right questions that will bring out the unique answers that each of our clients have within. If you are someone who thinks they know all the answers, then coaching is NOT for you. Because each and every one of us has our own answers within ourselves. What's good for you, is not necessarily good for someone else. But that person just needs the right professional guidance to bring to the surface their own unique answers to their life plan.

I am on a mission to help as many new coaches as possible to make a living at this profession. Consider me the Coach's coach! And the first place we will start in the coaching is how to have the right mindset in order to make money as quickly as possible.

The benefits of growing a coaching business are infinite. Here are just a few out of the many that I could list:

1) You get to help people improve their lives at a very deep level. It's a very rewarding profession to both the coach and the client.

2) You get to work from home or from the road ... wherever you have access to a phone or sometimes the internet for your international clients.

3) If you have a family, spouse, kids that you need to be around for, it's a business schedule that can be very flexible, because you make your own hours. You decide when and how you are going to work your clients into your schedule.

4) If you are like me, you are also someone who can help society improve their overall health and well-being, so that they don't have to go to doctors as often as many people do -- which can have a very profound impact on people's fiscal health as well.

5) If you decide to relocate to a new state or different country, it's a very portable profession. Like I said, as long as you have access to a phone, you are good to go and don't have to lose your clients because of a physical move.

These are just a few of the benefits of learning how to make a viable business out of coaching.

If this intrigues you and resonates with you to the core of your being, then contact me and find out how you can start this journey right now and begin to make money helping others have a better life!
(And in the process, you will improve your overall happiness level, because you will be doing what you love to do and making money doing it! Does it get any better than that?)
(LOAOA)

Yes, I am a Law of Attraction coach, so you are probably wondering why the heck am I writing about Law of Attraction overload. And especially the club LOAOA! OK ... I just made that up. I don't think that there really is an LOA Overload Anonymous group ... but there could be!

Do you ever feel like you go to every Law of Attraction seminar and tele-class in creation and yet you still feel like you are not getting any where? You've read all the books, your library of self-help books is taking over your house, you have been doing all the Law of Attraction "exercises" and ... nothing!

When you are in overwhelm with all this stuff, it's time to de-clutter your repertoire of LOA material and take a big step back, a big deep breath and stop the insanity!

You see, it's not because the Law of Attraction doesn't work ... it does. But so many of us try so hard to change our lives for the better and are so desperate to "make" something happen, that we forget that it is all about "how we feel" that attracts things into our lives.

So, think about it ... let's say you are doing a Focus Wheel every day, envisioning your dream unfolding while doing your daily meditation, reading the latest inspirational Law of Attraction book you got your hands on, but at the end of the day or week you are still feeling frustrated. What gives?

You guessed it ... it's that frustration that will get you all the time. Your biggest job is to pay attention to your emotions and use that as your guidance system, your teacher, to move you up that vibrational scale.

The secret is also in the energy and space you come from when you are doing all these LOA exercises and educating yourself with all this material. If you come from a desperate place of "this has to change or else ...", you can see where that may not be the "vibration" that is going to bring you what you want. Matter of fact, it is going to do just the opposite.

I recently wrote an article for a magazine on "making peace with what is" and that is part of what you have to do in order to bring on more change. It sounds counter-intuitive, but it is not. You see, if you are resisting your current situation so much and desperately doing everything in your power to change it, while feeling frustrated that "you are not there yet", that will only lock your current situation in place and bring you even more of what you don't want.

So, do yourself a favor. De-clutter your Law of Attraction and Self-help repertoire. Only do a couple of the things that make you feel REALLY good and get rid of the rest. Try it out. Life is supposed to be fun. Stop making it SO hard. And make sure that you pay extra special attention to the energy you are coming from when you do anything that is part of your "pivot to the positive" tool kit. Check in with your intention. Ask yourself:

"Am I coming from a desperate place here?"

"Is this LOA exercise making me feel at peace, centered, hopeful or bringing more attention to the exact thing that I don't want?"

"Am I going to be disappointed if this doesn't manifest within a week, a month, etc.?"

(Hint: That's a clue ... when you have a timeframe on your desires and you already know that if it doesn't come by then, you are going to be upset ... oops! That's a big no-no when it comes to the Law of Attraction. You are more rooted in "lack" of it when you are keeping score and feeling bad about it not being here yet. What you attract is 100% correlated with what you are focused on. So, if you are more focused on "it's not here yet ... crap!", that's what you are going to get more of.

Stop throwing the Law of Attraction kitchen sink at all your goals. Keep it simple. Always remember to reach for a better feeling thought. Make peace with what is. Let go of the how. And stop looking and keeping score that your goal has not been reached. Chill out.

When you relax about it all and trust that your only job is to feel good, you will attract more positive things into your life than you ever could have imagined.

No laundry list of action steps required.

Life is a journey. Enjoy it!

Yes, even a Happiness Coach has some "off" moments ... I am human! ;-) Sometimes you just have to let yourself feel what you feel. I know that is SO profound, but it is such a helpful tip for being able to move on from that emotional crap that we sometimes get stuck in!!!

So, yesterday's mood got me thinking. You see I was doing what many of you do ... I was beating up on myself yesterday about some decisions I had made in the past. Now, I know better, but I just had to LET IT OUT, get it off my chest, cry, get angry! I know ... shocker, huh? You may not find too many happiness coaches admitting that they have those feelings. But, we do. The only difference between the way I may process those type of feelings and you may process them, is that I am so hyper-aware of what I am feeling and I also know that what I feel impacts what comes next, that I make sure I do everything in my power to shift the feeling into a better feeling place!

And yesterday I came up with a new approach. I was driving in the car with my honey and here's what came out of my mouth =>

"Maybe we should throw a pitty party, buy balloons, beat up on ourselves all day and then make a pact with each other that after we do that for one day, we are done! No more beating up on ourselves. No more feeling stuck. Decide that "THAT'S IT!"

Now, we didn't throw the party yet, but it did make me chuckle and I even found some relief in just the thought of throwing that party. First of all, I absolutely know that I could not beat up on myself for an entire day .... it probably wouldn't last 1 hour (if that). Second of all, I know that when I beat up on myself, it only makes me feel worse, it doesn't solve a thing and it keeps me from taking inspired action steps that will move me towards the direction of my dreams! So, why the heck do it?

So ... what would your pitty party look like? Who would you invite to join in your misery? How would you decorate? What food would you serve? I know at my party there would be a lot of chocolate and purple and red balloons! :) :) :)

Just even thinking about that party right now, makes me smile because it is so ridiculous! And as you know from the Law of Attraction, any feeling of relief is a good one! So, feeling relief from just the thought of throwing a pitty party is exactly what I needed yesterday to keep me moving forward and living a life filled with joy instead of regrets.

"Regrets are just another way we beat up on ourselves
and stop our dreams from unfolding."
~ Maria Lesetz

Maria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8894462703446842925.post-3688352100155570102012-04-01T09:05:00.007-07:002012-04-01T09:37:22.924-07:00When you Feel Stuck! ... Musings of a Happiness CoachI was inspired to write this as a result of what someone wrote to me in response to what I posted as my status on Facebook recently.

Here’s what I wrote:
Reviewing some new coaching clients answers to my Client Interview Questionnaire! I just love helping my clients live the life of their dreams! I sure LOVE what I do! :)

And here is what someone posted on my wall in reply to this status update:
“I wish my job was something that I could love every day...but its just NOT. There are many aspects that nobody should have to endure, but someone has to. Like your job, people call me when situations get beyond their control...but unlike me, they are happy to deal with you. You are very fortunate. Never forget that.”

Now, my first reaction to this was ...
“Yes, I am fortunate, but you can feel that way too!!! You can choose a different job. You are never “stuck”! And embracing the attitude of “someone has to do a job that nobody should ever have to endure and I am the one who has to do it” – that’s just a story you are telling yourself. Also, if you EXPECT that people are going to be unhappy dealing with you at your job, then you will get just that ... unhappy people. And it is not because of the type of job you have. It is because you are expecting the worst, so your expectation manifests your experiences! Period!

Now, I don't mean to be harsh with my answer to this, I just want you to realize that you are NEVER "stuck" in any life situation. You can change it if you really want to. I quit my corporate job to start my own business because I had enough of that corporate environment. It was no longer aligned with what was bringing me joy. I made that decision for me and my overall happiness!

You have a choice too. You are ALWAYS at choice in any given moment of the day to change what you are thinking and feeling and ultimately change the direction of your life path for the better.

If you don’t like your job, you don’t have to “put up” with it because “someone has to do it”. And why does that someone have to be you anyway? There are plenty of people who follow careers that to other people may appear dangerous, depressing, challenging, but to them it is their passion - think of Doctors, Law Enforcement, Suicide Hotlines, Social Workers, etc. There may be lots of stress in these types of jobs but if you are one of the people who has this type of career, hopefully you picked this career because it is something you are passionate about and it is aligned with your values and brings you great joy.

And if you are in one of these careers where you initially went into it for the passion but you find that you have lost the passion for it OR if it has become too stressful and is starting to impact your quality of life, then why not do something about it? Decide that you are worth so much more than "settling for something that doesn't make you happy".

The change you seek starts with working on YOU.

After all, isn't it all about enjoying YOUR life?
Aren't you entitled to live a life you love?
This is what I am so passionate about helping my coaching clients with!

Now, you may be thinking "what about the economy, this isn't the time to be making changes". Well, the "economy" is only an issue if you believe it to be. The only thing that matters that will have an impact on what you can do next is what you believe is possible, no matter what is happening outside of you. The nature of your thoughts, feelings and beliefs is what determines your life experiences.

YOU create your reality.

If you feel "stuck" in any area of your life, I would love to help you get unstuck!
Contact me today to find out about my Lovin' Life Coaching Services.

And by the way, "stuck" is just a mindset. It's a story you are telling yourself that you have the power to change. Ultimately it is all up to you, but I can guide you by asking you the right questions that will unlock what is right for you so that you can live a life that is filled with joy and ease. Doesn’t that sound so much lighter and exciting than settling for something less than a fabulous life?!

Always remember ... you are NEVER stuck. There is always a path that you can take that will align more with what brings you JOY! And the key is to embrace the right mindset that will get you there. And there is nothing that is stopping you from doing that ... except you!

Wishing you a Lovin' Life rest of the day!
~ Maria C. Matter of fact it is a service that many people (from all walks of life) are seeking out these days! From Corporate CEO's to housewives to medical professionals and even students; Happiness is something we all seek. But what many of us forget is that Happiness is not just found when we reach our goals and desires. Matter of fact it is exactly the opposite. Achieving our goals and dreams is dependent on how happy we are right here, right now in this present moment. And the great news is that Happiness is something that we can all find within, despite the bumps in the road we face each and every day.

I've been a Happiness Coach for over 10 years now and the one thing I have taught all my coaching clients is that CHOOSING TO BE HAPPY, no matter what, is the key that will open up the door to all your dreams and desires. Yes, sounds a bit corny ... but it is SO true! We always have a choice at how we respond to what life throws our way. And our attitude towards each and every one of our life events is what determines our future life experiences.

There is a Happiness Coaching WAVE that is even happening in the corporate arena, where companies are starting to realize that Happy Employees translates to Healthy, Loyal and Productive Employees which positively impacts the overall success of the company. It's a win-win for all! When I help my corporate clients reduce stress, improve work-life balance, learn how to maintain a positive mindset in the midst of work chaos, they are happier with their career and equate going to work with what brings them joy. And when that happens, not only is the employee happy (and healthier!), but the company that he or she works for benefits ten-fold!!!

On a side note, have you noticed how often "Happiness" is being used as a form of marketing of very large companies? Think about it... Coca-Cola, they have the slogan "Open Happiness"; My Frito Lays slighted salted potato chips say on the bag "Happiness in every bite". And I saw the same type of Happiness message on a Hershey's Chocolate bag too! Isn't it interesting how these companies are using the message of Happiness to sell their products. But come on, we are not fooled ... we all know that a bag of chips or a soda is not going to bring us TRUE happiness. Sure, it may put a smile on your face momentarily (especially that yummy dark chocolate), but inner happiness is not found in food or any material item or even in another person.

It's that "inner happiness" that really feels so yummy and is what will help us to live a fabulous, fulfilling life!

So, if you have the blues and are finding yourself dreading going to work, worrying about your future, your health, your relationships, or if you are just simply lacking that oomph to step up and go after your greatest desires and dreams (because of all the naysayers out there that say you can't because of the economy), then make a decision today to hop on board the Lovin' Life bus => Happiness Coaching at its finest!Maria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8894462703446842925.post-48202476386787330992011-08-14T10:22:00.000-07:002011-09-15T16:55:24.293-07:00The Art of ALLOWING: Being DETACHED from the Outcome!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 89px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnrmqw0IMBGUTttGn-zGzWO_Qenviggw_dHzxXJ9TFHazlMqpThGsskFzCsCh6FTOxe4buDoO0n_zk1H3IPaH614t_57s7AlQWUiKhNgzVV_9WtzFPbMJkmFdsOmYP19_KW9HPeWHJyFOk/s200/Art+of+Allowing.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640765603897900354" />

I recently had a coaching client ask me the following questions via e-mail:

I wonder how do I really know what I want, but be content with or separated from the outcome of it.

What a fabulous, philosophical question -- ones that I thoroughly enjoy answering from my clients each and every day. It is definitely something that many of us have a hard time doing ... "being detached from the outcome" or even "making peace with what is". Often we know what we want, but find ourselves very attached to everything happening in a certain way and in a certain time frame (oooh, am I guilty on the latter -- I want it NOW! Do you ever feel that way?). Unfortunately (or fortunately ... depending on how you look at it), it doesn't always happen that way, and sometimes for very good reasons.

So here was my reply to my client:

There are a few pieces to this question that needs to be addressed.

First, you need to identify what you REALLY want. Sometimes we don't have all the details of this and we oscillate back and forth with what exactly it is that we would like to have, but often we can definitely get clearer by observing the things that we don't want and turning those around (like a 180 degree turn) to what we do want. Many people think they don't really know what they want, but, they actually do because they know what they DON'T want! Make sense? Now, I know this is not the essence of your question, but I felt it was important to address the part of "knowing what you want".

Now ... to the heart of the question: Knowing what you want while simultaneously ...

1) Being content with the outcome ... hmmmm, well, I think what you are asking here is how to make peace with the outcome you are getting and still believe that you can manifest what you really want. It really comes down to knowing that no matter what is in front of you, there are an infinite number of ways to attract what you want into your life. Matter of fact, sometimes the outcomes you are getting (that you may not be content with) are the exact ones that need to happen in order for you to get what you want (even though it doesn't appear that way at the time). And sometimes, the outcome that you are getting (that may not be that close to what you really want) gives you even MORE clarity as to what you want. So, how to be content with where you are at, with a clear intention of where you want to go is something that you decide to do - it's a choice. It's also an inner knowing, a confidence that it will all work out. Which leads to the second part of your question ...

2) Being separated from the outcome --- which I believe you are referring to as "being detached" from the outcome. The answer is similar to #1, but slightly different in that "being detached" or "separated" from the outcome means that you can't NEED this outcome to happen. Need repels. Detachment and Trust attracts. So, when we decide what it is we really want AND choose to let go of the HOW it is going to happen and detach ourselves from the outcome, that's when the magic happens -- that's when the doors open, the surprising opportunities come our way (that we never could have cooked up in our minds), that's what LOA calls the "ALLOWING" space or the Art of Allowing. There is no resistance to what we are faced with in this current moment. There is no focus on lack. There is just a peaceful, flowing energy that feels light-hearted and refreshing, with a conviction and knowing that it is all going to unfold perfectly so that we are living our dreams.

Now, let's talk about how we get to that "feeling" place of ALLOWING and detaching from the outcome:

There are many things that can help you to "detach" from the outcome. Just the reminder that the NEED will repel what you really want to attract into your life, is good enough for some people to let go and detach from the outcome. Sometimes affirmations help to keep you detached and removed while still believing that what you really want is going to happen (and these affirmations have to be ones that are felt to the core of your being -- not just words you are speaking).

Also, releasing exercises like NPA or the Sedona Method can help to bring you to that "allowing" place and being at "peace with what is" so that you can change the situation to a more desirable outcome. It's funny, because many people think it is the opposite way ... that if we just dwell and try to figure it out and find the HOW, then it is going to happen ... but this is NOT the case. Yes, determination is a big piece of the puzzle (i.e., being a "go-getter"), however, if there is too much "attachment" to wanting it and NEED, then the Universe views that as "you are rooted in the LACK of having what you want" -- which as you know only means one thing ... that you will get more lack.

******
It truly is an "art" to ALLOW what we want to come into our lives. So many of us fall into that belief that we have to "work hard" and/or "do things in a certain way" to make things happen. But that's not the case. We just need to learn how to be easier about it all and TRUST more that what we want can come to us in a gazillion ways once we make peace with what is and let go of HOW it is all going to happen and be a little bit more "loosey goosey" with the exact outcome. After all, something even better than the outcome that you are cooking up in your mind could happen -- so why be attached to that specific outcome? Allow the Universe to unfold its magic! :)

Subscribe to our mailing list

Maria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8894462703446842925.post-16806818782627177032011-08-05T10:59:00.000-07:002011-08-05T12:33:40.501-07:00The RANT Zone!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 173px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGWWX4t73AZFOAiG7uHEmDeALFemu170hlTjzqIuiwMAC58Eog_mtE16CQyUvIKPZ3eu1IRBNP6TWK7-JIqDY_28U3fkDHzTBopDXW1-arXLI3zZtV_8mUEg2X3iLN6W-ZsA_PN3U0tAWp/s200/Rant.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5637433821455197058" />

You may be surprised to hear a Law of Attraction coach telling you that it is good to rant and let out your anger out once in a while! But it is! You see, so many of us hold our emotions and what we feel inside and not let it out, that it just builds up and literally eats us up from the inside!

Like I have mentioned before in my previous blog posts, what we feel is felt at every cell of our body and definitely impacts the overall health of our cells. So, if you are someone who "keeps it all in", you are not doing your physical body any justice. That stress that you internalize will kill you eventually ... one way or another.

I encourage my coaching clients to LET IT OUT! FEEL WHAT THEY FEEL! SCREAM! SHOUT! GET MAD or ANGRY! All that letting out of emotions is a good releasing of what's felt on the inside. This goes for crying too. Haven't you ever had a good cry and then felt some relief after it? It's good to let it all out!

There are so many people in the Law of Attraction community that pretend to be always so happy and positive and from the outside, they do appear that way. But I know many people in this community ... and let me tell you ... what they say and what they feel on the inside are totally different things. And that's OK if they want to be that way ... but the bottom line is this ... they will attract ONLY what they feel, not what they say or how they come across to other people. So, if you think that practicing the Law of Attraction just means that you have to "pretend to be happy", you are sadly mistaken.

If you really want to attract what you want in your life, you have to live your life fully by feeling your emotions, letting them guide you, letting them out, knowing what to do with them so that you can create a better life for yourself.

I recently tweeted about something new I am offering people so that they can FEEL their emotions, let them out freely, with no judgment and in a "safe zone". It's my "Let it out ALL in 10 minutes" product that will give you the freedom to RANT and do a good brain dump of all that "stuff" that you wish you could say out loud, but for some reason or another don't.

If you are ready to RANT, sign up below and as soon as I receive your payment I will be contacting you to set up that fabulous 10 minutes of releasing those negative feelings!

IMAGINE SAYING WHAT YOU FEEL AND NOT WORRYING ABOUT WHAT ANYONE THINKS OF WHAT YOU ARE SAYING!!! And one that I have embraced over the years that has made quite a positive difference in my life in terms of the quality of the life experiences that I continue to attract into my life.

Many people have a tough time with "making peace with what is" (I used to too!).

After all, how do you make peace with "what is" if "what is" isn't what you want in your life?

What a great question, huh?

On the surface that seems like it would be a difficult thing to do. And it can sure feel that way. But there is a misconception about "making peace with what is". Many people think that this means "giving into it" or "giving up on your dreams and accepting that you will have to put up with what you are dealing with forever". And that's just not the case.

To me, making peace with what is just means that you release a lot of the resistance you have around it. Because we all know that what you resist ... persists. From a Law of Attraction stand point that makes perfect sense because when you are "resisting something" you are giving it A LOT of your attention and focus to it. And what you are giving your attention to is the exact thing that you don't like, don't want, want to get rid of. So, you are rooted in LACK ... lack of thing that you really want. And of course, what do you continue to attract? More of what you don't want; more proof that what you are focusing on is going to continue to stay there.

So "acceptance" and "making peace with" is more about softening the resistance. Now, some people find this easier to do on certain areas of their life, than others. Why would that be? I believe it is because in those areas that feel "difficult", there is a thick web of dis-empowering stories that we are telling ourselves that need to be shifted and changed before we can make that peace and "accept what is". I help my clients to uncover these dis-empowering stories and to re-write them so that they feel so much better and as a result, bring them great relief. Relief is a much better feeling than "resistance" and as a result leads to a shift to a more peaceful, ALLOWING place so that what we can more easily attract what we really want in our lives.

For me, when I rationalize it out and ask myself "Is NOT making peace with this bringing you what you want?" and the answer is a clear "No. It's just making me feel worse", that seems to open up the doorway to the peaceful, AHHHHHH, feeling and a relaxed state of being around the situation. Being a deliberate creator of my life experiences I know how important it is to feel good, so as soon as I recognize that the emotion that I am choosing to hold onto makes me feel worse, I realize that my only job is to improve how I feel.

I also remind myself that there is always a hidden gem in every life situation that I am experiencing and that the sum total of those experiences is what made me who I am today -- which is a strong, passionate, powerful woman who can do anything when she puts her mind to it and has "beaucoup" positive energy to give to others. I appreciate all challenges I have ever experienced, because they have just made me stronger. So, in reality, there is no "bad" or "good" event, they are not to be judged, it is just how we respond to them that makes a difference in how fully we experience life.

I often tweet the following quote that I came up with which summarizes this concept beautifully:

"Make peace with what is, with a clear intention of where you want to go." ~ Lesetz

To Your Health & Happiness,
~ Coach MariaMaria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8894462703446842925.post-65269820667189187812011-03-08T17:00:00.000-08:002011-03-08T17:36:18.652-08:00How to handle REGRETS!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 124px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-5sT3oJqBQGCc71qpBUxv2DSn6cg3kUF9p55MfJnCfox6wLJ4055SLJ-FemrqxNcMDOMOymert0cl6sbC5_VX9E6OTBBFIC604IbRZfgLsGPBvIJCnESSoZE0EKpga7K0QWOJM7N2MJ5e/s200/Regrets.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5581886459128043170" />

I just read a quote recently that really struck me:

"Never regret anything because at one point it was EXACTLY what you wanted!" ~ Unknown

Think about that for a second. Regrets are all about something we did in the past that NOW we are wishing we didn't OR wishing that we could have a "Do-Over" on that same situation. Do you ever feel like that? I know that I have had those thoughts where I remember something I did in the past where it took me on a specific life path that now, I might be judging and saying "if I only knew then, what I know now, I would have done things differently". Now, what I just described could be considered a regret.

Let's look at a couple of definitions that I found on an online dictionary site (www.thefreedictionary.com):

Regret ... A feeling of disappointment or distress about something that one wishes could be different.

or ... Regret ... A sense of loss and longing for something or something gone.

Sometimes I wish I did do things differently when I look back into the past. But, I also know that when I do that it doesn't feel so good. Feeling regret is low on that emotional scale of JOY. It's actually quite far from the feeling of the "vortex" that Abraham-Hicks talks about in their Law of Attraction teachings. And choosing to be a deliberate creator of my life experiences, I typically catch myself in the act of feeling this way and make the decision to tell myself another story or let go of what happened then and realize that the most important thing that will determine my future life experiences is what I am feeling NOW in this present moment.

And when it comes down to it, regretting something you did in the past isn't going to change your situation. It's just going to keep you feeling distressed, depressed, angry, frustrated, stuck ... all feelings that will ONLY attract to you life situations that will continue to make you feel this way. Remember ... the Law of Attraction simply states "Like attracts like".

Now, going back to the quote I started this blog post with, it essentially is saying that what we regret NOW is something we did back in the past that we actually WANTED to do. WOW ... how profound is that! So, back then, we CHOSE to quit that job, marry or divorce that person, take a risk, start a new business, move to a new location, party a little too much, ... and the list goes on of all the things that we may be regretting that we wish we never did.

My philosophy is that "everything happens for a reason" and that the things that challenge us in life can also help us to grow emotionally and spiritually. Each and every event impacts the next. So you really don't know if that thing you are regretting had to happen in order for you to be where you are today. I can find the blessings in the things that I may consider as regrets. And when I do, I feel so much better. Because I am flipping the story I am telling myself. I am seeing the "gem" in the rough stone that appears dirty, ugly and invaluable. There is always a lesson to be learned and there is always growth that can happen. It's all a matter of how we choose to look at things.

I believe Wayne Dyer says "Change the way you look at things and the things you look at will change." (or something to that effect). And it's true. You can view your life with a different pair of lenses and all of a sudden, your life would not look as bad as you thought it was before you chose to put on those "positive, feel good" lenses. Do you know what I mean?

How do you handle regrets? You choose to view them differently. You choose to see the blessings in all your life events. You recognize that feeling regret is not going to attract to you what you want in your life and that it will only put a pause button on your dreams and desires. You see the beauty in the fact that in each and every moment we are at choice to feel a certain way.

Simply stated ... Regrets don't feel good. And when you don't feel good, you are NOT attracting what you want into your life. So, stop regretting the past and start living in the NOW and realizing the power you have in this present moment to create a fabulous future just by the nature of the thoughts and feelings that you choose to have.

To your Health & Happiness,
~ Coach MariaMaria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8894462703446842925.post-84292578257777025662011-03-04T12:43:00.000-08:002011-03-04T13:40:00.615-08:00Law of Attraction Tip that Many Find Difficult to do=> Let Go of the HOW!If you are a Law of Attraction student, teacher, expert, I am sure you have heard the advice of "Letting go of the HOW" (i.e., HOW it is going to happen). I teach this to all my students and coaching clients as well. And I often remind myself to LET GO OF THE HOW with some of my big dreams.

However, many people find this quite difficult to do. Maybe that's you. After all, we are a society of "figure out-ers"! We want to know HOW to do something. What are the steps? How do I get "there"?

And sometimes figuring out the HOW is exciting. It feels like we are being productive. It sometimes can feel down right EMPOWERING. But those are not the times that I am talking about when I offer the advice of LETTING GO OF THE HOW. I am referring to those times when we get frustrated by trying to figure it all out. You know the times I am talking about - when you have this goal or dream and you are trying to figure out in that brain of yours ... Maybe a few of these statements sound familiar to you:

"How the heck am I going to achieve that?!

There are so many steps to get there and I don't know all of them.

It feels impossible.

This dream feels HUGE and out of reach.

It feels like "pie in the sky" (This is something one of my Doctor coaching clients told me when she was referring to a goal she had for starting her own side business in the wellness industry.)

Letting go of the HOW is important to do when we are getting caught up in our gremlin thoughts around the HOW and it is frustrating the heck out of us. As Law of Attraction students, we know that "frustration" will not bring us what we want in our lives. At least, it will not bring us the ideal situation. So, if our emotions are our indicators of what we are attracting into our lives, we must do something about that frustration. And the only thing to do when we can't figure out the HOW is to let go of trying to figure it out.

Now, I know that sounds easier said than done. Because many of us are wired (I'm raising my hand here) to get into the nitty gritty details and find the path to making it happen. But often when we do this, coming from that frustration place, we get absolutely nowhere! We feel stuck. Oh yes, I know that feeling of "stuck" - do you?

Feeling "stuck" is more about the nature of our thoughts and feelings than what is going on outside of us. We are "stuck" in the type of thoughts we are choosing to think on a daily basis. So, we have to shake it up a bit. Pivot our thoughts. Turn our focus to something that brings us relief (even if it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the goal at hand).

I use a few techniques, tools, exercises that help my coaching clients (and myself) to let go of the how. These are releasing techniques that help us to feel more at peace and to trust more in the natural process of the unfolding of our dreams.

Letting go of the HOW doesn't have to be that difficult. It's only difficult if we believe it is. I am the type of person where "logic" really resonates with me. So, when I ask myself the following question, I usually LET GO after the answer:

"Is trying to figure out the HOW making you FEEL GOOD?"

Usually, my answer is NO. And once I am aware of that, it is far easier for me to LET GO of figuring out the HOW and to remind myself to TRUST MORE and believe that everything is unfolding in a perfect timing and that my dreams and desires are happening (even if many of the steps are going on behind the curtains and I can't see all of them!).

Before you leave, listen to my brief inspirational video clip, aired on Fox News TV about this very topic: LETTING GO OF THE HOW! Enjoy and please do contact me if you need some guidance with this. You get there by continuing to focus on what you don't want, what you are worried about, what doesn't feel good in your current reality. Now, I understand that you don't practice these thoughts "deliberately" - who would want to do that? But you have gotten yourself into a pattern of default negative thinking which has become your point of attraction.

So, the only way to stop this pattern is to:

1) Be aware. Awareness is the first step to changing anything in your life. Think about it. If you are driving a car and you are not aware at all of your surroundings and in a "fog" or daze, what is likely to happen. You must have some form of awareness about you when you are driving so that you can arrive safely to where you want to go. Well, same goes for your life goals and your awareness around your emotions and what you are feeling.

2) Catch those gremlin thoughts in the act! Once you are more aware of the nature of your thoughts and feelings, you can often catch yourself in the act of negative thinking (or what many Law of Attraction people call "gremlin thoughts"). Once you catch yourself, you can make a conscious decision to pivot to a better feeling place. (even if it is ever so slight of an improvement in how you feel -- an improvement is still moving up the vibrational scale and is a good thing!).

3) Stop beating up on yourself! Oh, this is a biggie. Once we start to learn about the Law of Attraction, we can get down on ourselves for "knowing better" and thinking that "we should be more positive". Sometimes, you just have to let yourself feel what you feel and then move on. (Like I mentioned in the previous post where I asked the question "Is Positive Thinking a bunch of Hooey?!") Bottom line, be kinder to you. Allow yourself to feel your emotions. And then start becoming a deliberate creator by reaching for relief, reaching for that better feeling by turning your focus to something else that makes you feel good OR by telling yourself a different story about your life situation.

Some of this Law of Attraction material seems like the same message, and honestly it is. If it could be summed up in two words it would be "FEEL GOOD" or "BE HAPPY" or "LOVE LIFE". And yet, many of us have the equation all backwards. We think that the way we will FEEL GOOD or LOVE LIFE is when our goals and dreams are manifested. But that's not the way it works. That's why I started my Lovin' Life Coaching business in the first place ... to teach people how to be Lovin' Life NOW so that any of their dreams and desires can unfold with ease!

From that happier place (which is ALWAYS found within), that is where we can create miracles in our lives.

To your Health & Happiness,
~ Coach MariaMaria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8894462703446842925.post-87124553327153531162011-02-28T18:53:00.000-08:002011-02-28T19:25:28.530-08:00Law of Attraction Tip: Remain Optimistically Delusional!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 171px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-bG-M-_tfjoJ6B-j5FgHfqrxvTBE8ygClpC6grZAwBdCBMYA8ZcVnnHgRPm6jha1rb8yWGABjQm8_TEAT9_mPDYdQiPzGJeT1SaqWyQnzi-rCMrbAqI43agM19vacXFzbxLNyq8EU_QhD/s200/Inventor.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5578945979595810674" />

This is a favorite topic of mine and one I get a kick out of when I read the traditional definition of "delusional". Here's what I found from Wikipedia.com and Dictionary.Reference.com:

Wikipedia:

A delusion is a fixed belief that is either false, fanciful, or derived from deception. In psychiatry, it is defined to be a belief that is pathological (the result of an illness or illness process) and is held despite evidence to the contrary. As a pathology, it is distinct from a belief based on false or incomplete information, dogma, stupidity, apperception, illusion, or other effects of perception.

Dictionary.Reference.com

1. a mistaken or misleading opinion, idea, belief, etc: he has delusions of grandeur
2. psychiatry illusion See also hallucination a belief held in the face of evidence to
the contrary, that is resistant to all reason
3. the act of deluding or state of being deluded

Both of these definitions imply that being "delusional" is believing in something that is "false" or "misleading" and "resistant to all reason".

This is where I start to have fun with this. Because "being delusional to our advantage" or as I phrased it in my Blog title as "Optimistically Delusional" is actually a really effective tool to use in order to leverage the Laws of Attraction in our favor.

If you believe something, contrary to any evidence that is in front of you, and if what you believe makes you hopeful, empowered, feel good, then why not believe it? Matter of fact, if you chose to NOT believe it, just because there was no evidence in front of you that said this could happen, you would be hindering your manifestation abilities to unfold your dreams and desires.

Think of inventors. Do they see the proof in front of them when they cook up some crazy invention in their head that is going to change the way the world operates? No. They only believe it can happen in their mind. They are "delusional" to their advantage and as a result of their "delusions of grandeur", inventors create things that have a huge positive impact on society.

When we are experiencing contrast in our lives (e.g., having negative experiences in one or more areas of our life that we wish we could change), it is almost a requirement that we embrace the "optimistically delusional" attitude in order to start turning those areas of our life around to the positive.

In the face of adversity, we need to believe in the positive, despite the negative that is in front of us.

I think we should all tap into our inner inventor and create in our minds to our glory. Cook up "delusional" life scenarios that we desire to live out that make our hearts sing. Believe in those scenarios before an ounce of manifestation occurs. Trust that once we dream up these life scenarios that the HOW will unfold with precision and ease.

To your Health & Happiness,
~ Coach MariaMaria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8894462703446842925.post-80143616023955493342011-02-27T13:41:00.000-08:002011-02-27T14:14:32.815-08:00Does Pretending and Imagining Help you to Attract what you Want in Life?<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 133px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2NOJ3XzPFnqVt3DsgmVscezJruYSATOxXD_lpdEY1fMp8SMQRx_sCWnTUbZfXqPKwR89wI7z7OBXyPIa3M7icNx-3bSk7OIn-rQLe9Wkdo3B8cpEMlUuF_3ODsGzs-uGhzaD1yHdEHwHM/s200/imagine.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5578490187308984322" />

I recently downloaded an app for my iMac which was a casino slot game. Yes, I do occasionally enjoy going to the casino to play the slots, so I thought
"Hey, why not. It may be quite fun!"

I am having the time of my life with it. It is SO fun! I actually feel like I am winning BIG jackpots when I get those bonus rounds and free spins. And here's why I believe this to be true and when "pretending and imagining" really works: I actually FEEL like a winner when I am playing! My vibe is so high and I am in pure joy. I am smiling, enjoying myself, Lovin' Life (of course I am! <wink>).

So, if you are actually feeling the vibe/emotion that you would feel if what you want was actually happening AND you can feel that in your NOW, then you will definitely attract more life events that will make you feel that fabulous way!

So, anything you "pretend" and "imagine" that feels real in this present moment to you and activates that VORTEX vibe that Abraham-Hicks talks about in their Law of Attraction teachings, is a good thing and will attract more of what you want into your life. Isn't that great news?!

After all, it is all about "feeling good". When you feel good in your now, despite any bumps in the road you are experiencing in your life, that's when you open the door to future positive life experiences. And according to the teachings of Abraham-Hicks, it really doesn't matter what it is you do to get to that "feel good" place as long as whatever you do brings you a feeling of relief and makes you feel better. And ideally, if you can do something that will bring the essence of how you will feel when you do have what you want and activate that feeling right now, you are on your way to attracting your desires and dreams!

Pretending and imagining works when it doesn't feel like you are pretending and it feels REAL to you right here, right now. That's the key to leveraging the power of our imaginations as a tool to attract what we want in life.

The Universe doesn't know whether we are pretending or actually living it as long as the emotions we are feeling when we are pretending are the same type of emotions as we would feel when we are living our dream. Maybe you know someone who has said:

"Yeah, right ... I just think I am going to be a millionaire and I will be! Sure. That sounds like a bunch of hooey to me!"

Well, listen in on one of my latest Fox News inspirational videos on this very topic and then I will elaborate further on what it takes (in addition to positive thinking) to deliberately create our life experiences the way we want them to be:

Many of you try to muscle your way into positive thinking, but deep down you still feel the same way (i.e., a negative feeling of doubt, worry, despair, frustration) which is the foundation of the sugar coating you are putting on top with those positive thoughts. If you have a sugar coating on something sour underneath, it's not going to turn out a sweet deal, is it?!

What really needs to be changed is what you are feeling underneath those thoughts. Think about it, if you see someone with a smile on their face, does that actually mean that they are happy on the inside? No. Not necessarily. It could be a fake smile. It could be someone who puts on a show on the outside, but has turmoil underneath. We never really know what someone is feeling on the inside. Only you know how you feel. And that's where it is important to start the shift.

Now, here's where many of my new coaching clients get tripped up with this positive thinking and Law of Attraction. They came to one of their first sessions, are familiar with the Law of Attraction, and think that they can't express anything negative because if they give it attention they are going to attract more of the negative. Now, that is true in the bigger picture, but it is important to recognize and acknowledge what you are feeling ... LET IT OUT. Express your emotions. Because if you suppress those emotions, they are not going to go away and they will always have a negative impact on what you attract into your life. So, in my Fox News video above, that's why I recommend to feel your emotions and then move on from there.

One day I screamed out to the Universe "I don't need fixing! I am perfect just the way I am!" (which was in response to some teleclass I attended that brought up some thoughts about myself that were not aligned with joy!) And boy, did that feel good. It was like letting out a great big "AHHHHHHH"! And the release and relief I felt just from letting that out felt incredible!

And from that place of relief, we can move forward and attract more of what we want into our lives.

The Law of Attraction states that "like attracts like" whether you are focusing on the negative or the positive. And where our attraction power really lies is in THE WAY WE FEEL underneath all those words we use and the thoughts we have. It's our feelings that are the magnets for our life experiences.

So, is positive thinking a bunch of hooey? Not if you are feeling positive underneath! And if you are feeling negative emotions, you need to first be aware of them and then reach for that feeling of relief (which can be achieved in a variety of ways, including REALLY feeling those emotions and letting them out) and once you consciously make that decision to feel slightly better on a regular basis, your life experiences will begin to be more positive ones and you are well on your way to achieving your desires and dreams.

To your Health & Happiness,
~ Coach MariaMaria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8894462703446842925.post-17150519734923148842011-02-25T13:17:00.000-08:002011-02-25T13:36:08.034-08:00A Law of Attraction Lesson: TRUST More!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 149px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifDKf-RkhYO1zWPiNBqYmPV2v2Axo559dcnQ_yJIlPkmDhMmlKv7D1cmWiSwFDrIOkgbyFUa6iyaT6nPB-5_PcXOGElaSDeRUN04f-CAKaGYizOYSmZGGiHJH7ZyKlcgcPe2O37Wgdu4nQ/s200/TRUST.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5577743122335690418" />

Sometimes when I need some guidance I just get quiet within myself and ask my higher self a question about the situation in my life that I want to change.

I often get this answer:

RELAX, TRUST & LET GO.

Now, it sounds so simple, and I must admit that the first time I got this answer, I said something to the effect of "OK ... but what else can I do?" HA! Sometimes we are so funny. Because we don't realize that our inner guidance is the most powerful tool we have and that the answers do NOT have to be complicated at all. Matter of fact, they can be quite simple.

"Relax, Trust & Let Go" is the most brilliant guidance ANYONE can get. Why? Because when we are so attached to an outcome and we are trying to "make something happen" and get frustrated because it is not happening in our lives, we are rooted in lack and distrust. And from a Law of Attraction perspective our focus is on the fact that it is NOT happening and you know what that means -- we will keep on attracting that "not happening" vibe into our life experience!

We try way too hard. Life is supposed to be fun and attracting our dreams and desires shouldn't be so difficult, unless we make it that way! Many of us believe that achieving our goals has to be "hard" or "difficult". But the only reason why we experience that it is hard, is because we believe it has to be. It's the belief that creates our reality.

My inner guidance was trying to tell me that I need to TRUST MORE that the positive outcome and the desires I have are on their way and that the ONLY thing I need to do is to chill about it all and BELIEVE that "All is Well".

My inner guidance also told me that anytime I felt "off" or started to have those gremlin thoughts or doubts that I should put my hand over my heart and affirm "ALL IS WELL" and that's what I do now and it connects me with a peaceful feeling and a knowing that ALL truly is well! Try it. It may work for you as well.

To your health & happiness,
~ Coach MariaMaria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8894462703446842925.post-37767836725942024072011-02-24T16:30:00.000-08:002011-02-24T16:40:05.080-08:00Law of Attraction Tip: When you find yourself dwelling on the past!As you know, the Law of Attraction is always in action. What you think and feel creates your current reality. So, if you are thinking about the past and feeling bad about it, not only are you making your past the part of your now, but you are also bringing a "lack" or "negative" feeling into your now, which is not going to have a positive impact on your future life experiences.

Today, I was walking through Costco and I found myself thinking about something I manifested in the past and I realized that when I thought about that it didn't make me feel happy or joyous at all. So, being someone who is quite aware of my emotions and how I am feeling in the moment, I right away stopped myself in the act of that "lackful" thought and told myself the following very simple phrase that really helped me to pivot to a better feeling place:

It's a new day!

And as soon as I said this, it activated a feeling within me that said "hey, it's a new day and things can turn on a dime! What happened in the past has nothing to do with the now, unless you make it so!"

WOW ... that felt good!!! And it is a "new day", a "new moment", a new "choice" that we can make to think something different and believe in the positive possibilities of the future.

What we think in the now is where our power resides.

Yes, we are that powerful and only we can change the course of our lives by the thoughts we think and the feelings we feel. It can be that simple if we make it that way.

So, when you find yourself dwelling on the past, just remember this simple phrase:

"It's a new day!"

And remind yourself that "that was then, and this is now" and the two have nothing to do with each other unless we "glue" them together!!!

To your health & happiness,
~ Coach MariaMaria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8894462703446842925.post-69925986346042156682011-02-24T16:20:00.000-08:002011-02-24T16:30:05.934-08:00Law of Attraction Tip: When You Feel like you Missed the Boat on that Opportunity!I am sure you have felt this way where you really wanted to attract something in your life, possibly a new job or meet that ideal mate, and you feel like you missed the boat on that opportunity. Maybe you missed a call or someone contacted that person prior to you and now that other person is "hooked up" with someone else.

You know the feeling. It's one where you feel like "oh crap, I didn't get there on time!" or "I didn't take action quick enough!"

Listen to my Fox News video clip below on this very topic and then we will come back to elaborate further on what you should do during times when you feel this way:

If you come from that place of "there are an infinite number of paths that I can achieve my goals", then you don't put so much weight on that one opportunity that you feel like you missed. Because there are so many more opportunities on their way to you, if you allow them to come by believing in the abundance of them.

Our dreams can unfold in so many different ways. We don't have to figure it all out. We just have to believe in our dreams and know that they are a given. Then, if we just take inspired action steps, all the rest of the steps will unfold naturally and organically so that it doesn't have to feel so "hard" to live our dreams.

And the biggest lesson here is to flip the story you tell yourself to one that feels good. If you tell the story of "I missed that boat" and then choose to embrace that your desire is not going to come to you because you didn't do something you "should have" done, that feels like crap! And feeling bad is DEFINITELY not going to bring you what you want in life.

Believe in those infinite number of paths and next time you catch yourself say "I missed that boat", tell yourself "that's OK, cause another one is coming!"

To your health & happiness,
~ Coach MariaMaria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8894462703446842925.post-67426747948099758862011-01-27T08:47:00.001-08:002011-01-27T09:05:45.294-08:00Life Coach Maria Lesetz says ... Worrying brings you Diddly Squat!!!OK ... so we all have worried about something in our lives (at some point in time), right?

But has worrying ever helped you in any way shape or form???

Listen to one of my latest Fox News Happiness Tips on Worrying:

Yes, you have a choice on whether to worry or not. You may not feel that way right now. You may be thinking that "it's in your blood" (I have heard that one often from people I know and clients), but it really is not in your blood - you know that!!!

You are choosing to worry. You can make a choice to respond differently to every single life experience you are living right now.

My logical, practical mind says "if worrying brings me absolutely no good and it can only make me feel worse and bring more of the same to me, then why the heck should I worry?"

Think about that one for a while. ANd next time you find yourself worrying about some area of your life, do the following:

1) Catch yourself in the act of worrying. Awareness is the first step to positive change.

2) Ask yourself ... "Is worrying about this going to bring me what I want?"

3) When the answer is "NO" to #2 (which it always will be), then make a conscious choice to reach for a better feeling.

4) How do you reach for a better feeling? There are so many ways.

=> Remind yourself that you can.
=> Shift your focus to something else in your life that puts a smile on your face
=> Meditate
=> Breathe in, Breathe Out (really, this one works like a charm if you really take nice long deep breaths)
=> Focus on what you do want and they way you want it to be.
=> Find the evidence that the way you want it to be can happen (even if it is in someone else's life) -- find the proof positive.

And the list goes on and on and on. I share with my coaching clients so many different ways that they can pivot in that moment of worry and each one takes the path that resonates the most with them.

So ... bottom line and some food for thought:

WORRY ... Why Bother???

To your Health & Happiness,
~ Maria Lesetz, Law of Attraction Happiness CoachMaria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8894462703446842925.post-57096257577133321062010-11-24T07:46:00.000-08:002010-11-24T08:17:59.402-08:00One of the Top Secrets to being Happy ... Stay Grounded in the Present Moment! Are you really present to the NOW? Do you find yourself thinking about the past or focusing on something that hasn't even happened yet (and you don't even realize you are doing this)? Sometimes we are so focused on thinking about what to do next or focused on something that just happened, that we really don't see what is in front of us!

Listen to my latest Happiness Coaching Tip, aired on Fox News at 10 in Eugene Oregon, about the gift that lies in staying grounded in the present moment:

I know that when I start thinking about the future (especially if I am concerned about how something is going to turn out), it sure doesn't make me feel good. And as I discussed in the previous post about Worst Case Scenario Imagining, it is DEFINITELY not going to bring me what I want. So, I remind myself in those moments that "ALL IS WELL" right here in this present moment.

And it is. If you really started to think about it, this present moment is pretty darn good! If you are reading this, you have internet access, you have your eyesight, you are breathing, you woke up this morning ... there are so many things to be grateful for right here, right now.

Do what I do when you find yourself thinking about the past or worrying about the future, bring yourself back to the present moment by looking around you and counting all your blessings. Find that place of deep appreciation for WHAT IS. This always works like a charm for me and in that red hot moment I realize that ALL truly is WELL!

There is nothing that you can do about what already happened in the past. And as far as the future, we all know that as deliberate creators, what we think in this present moment will impact the future. So, why not have peaceful, loving, "All is Well" thoughts right now and attract the same type of future life experiences?!

And anyway, if you continue to have one leg in the past and one leg in the future ... where does that leave you? Doing a great big split that will really hurt!!!

Embrace the present moment!

To your Health & Happiness,
~ MariaMaria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8894462703446842925.post-35782758792238353662010-11-23T10:29:00.000-08:002010-11-24T07:46:41.993-08:00Ditch the Worst Case Scenario in your mind!Ok ... so I know that you have gone there before ... cooking up the worst case scenario before anything bad even happened.

Well, from a Law of Attraction perspective, you are planting that "negative seed" of the worst thing happening. After all, if your thoughts and feelings are energy, then thinking and feeling that the worst case scenario is going to happen WILL only influence the result negatively. So why do it? It doesn't make you feel good, it only makes you worry more. And we all know what worrying attracts to us!

Listen to my 30-second video clip, aired on Fox News at 10 in Eugene Oregon on Cooking up those Worst Case Scenarios:

A while ago, I had a coaching client who cooked up the worst case scenario in her head that she was going to be homeless. Now, she was FAR from being homeless at this time and had tons of money in the bank for cushion and security. Yet her fears were taking her to the worst place, which definitely didn't make her feel good. During one of her first coaching sessions, she told me that she wasn't good at visualizing and imagining her dreams and desires -- she used the excuse "I am not good at visualizing and pretending". I gracefully pointed out to her that she was REAL good at visualizing, but just from the negative perspective. She had a very active imagination and could "see" herself living out the worst case scenario! Interesting, huh? So, was she really not good at visualizing? Or did she just build her negative scenario muscles MORE than her positive scenario ones?

Once we started working on this, she realized she could use that same skill of imagining, but only on the positive side of things. So, we started building those best case scenario muscles and soon she was feeling a whole lot better and wouldn't you know it ... positive manifestations happened in her life. She didn't end up homeless. Matter of fact, she attracted a couple of inheritances from family members who passed on ... something that came to her once she opened up to the possibility of the positive side for her future.

We all create our reality by the nature of our thoughts and feelings. So, what are you imagining will happen in your future now? Is it the worst case, the best case, something that makes you worry more or something that makes you leap for joy?

You choose!

So, ditch your worst case scenario and flip it to the best case scenario! You will feel so much better!!!

To your Health & Happiness,
~ Coach MariaMaria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8894462703446842925.post-68871207066640653762010-11-12T12:43:00.000-08:002010-11-12T13:21:38.917-08:00How to Stop Worrying! This is a popular topic to talk about. After all, who do you know that has NEVER worried in their life? I've worried. I'm sure you have too.

There are many people that are chronic worriers. Is that you?

But worrying doesn't really serve any purpose. Matter of fact, you are negatively impacting your future life experiences by worrying all the time. Listen to my latest inspirational video clip that will be aired tonight on Fox News at 10 in Eugene, Oregon. It will definitely get you thinking about stopping that worrying and shifting to a better feeling place! And YES ... it is within your reach!

I can't tell you how many times I have heard from people that "Worry is in my blood" or "I come from a long line of family members who worry constantly". First of all, like I said in the above video clip, WORRY is NOT in your blood. It is a feeling and emotion that you choose to have (whether it feels like you are choosing it or not -- you are). I know, it may feel like you don't know any other way. But, now you do.

You have to start building your "appreciation" muscles instead of feeding that big hairy ugly worry monster which is getting stronger and stronger each time you are concerned about the future!

Here's a great quote from Abraham-Hicks on worrying and appreciating:

"When you are worrying, you are planning. When you are appreciating, you are planning. What are YOU planning?"

I know that when I have worried about something in my life, it never brought me the thing I wanted to happen. It always makes me feel worse and in hindsight when I look back at those worrying times, it also attracted to me more things to be worried about. That's just the Law of Attraction in action, isn't it?

And I want you to know that at times, even as a Law of Attraction Happiness Coach, I find myself falling into that "worry mode". But here's the beauty about knowing about the power we have "to choose how we feel" -- I always catch myself doing it and make a conscious choice in that moment to shift to a more positive place. This is what being a deliberate creator of our life experiences is all about! It's quite empowering!

So, replace that worrying with appreciating what you do have, what you do love about your life. Make a list of all that you ARE grateful for. And next time you find yourself buying into the belief that "worrying is just who you are and the way you are wired", ask yourself "and how's that working for me?" And then, when you realize it is not, choose a belief that is more empowering ... maybe one like:

"I choose what I think and feel and today I am going to reach for a better feeling thought!"

To your Health & Happiness,
~MariaMaria Lesetzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08591540032934871739noreply@blogger.com0
