Law of Attraction Laser Coaching Sessions - a quick Pick-me-up!!

Law of Attraction Tip: When you Wake up in a Bad Mood!



Often new coaching clients come to me with the yearning to be more positive but the feeling of frustration that they are "stuck" in a constant negative vibe.

They tell me "I wake up this way and I really try to be positive, but how can I do that when I wake up every morning with those same negative thoughts?"

You don't get to that place of "being negative all the time" over night, it happens over a period of time where you are practicing the same type of thought pattern over and over again. You get there by continuing to focus on what you don't want, what you are worried about, what doesn't feel good in your current reality. Now, I understand that you don't practice these thoughts "deliberately" - who would want to do that? But you have gotten yourself into a pattern of default negative thinking which has become your point of attraction.

So, the only way to stop this pattern is to:

1) Be aware. Awareness is the first step to changing anything in your life. Think about it. If you are driving a car and you are not aware at all of your surroundings and in a "fog" or daze, what is likely to happen. You must have some form of awareness about you when you are driving so that you can arrive safely to where you want to go. Well, same goes for your life goals and your awareness around your emotions and what you are feeling.

2) Catch those gremlin thoughts in the act! Once you are more aware of the nature of your thoughts and feelings, you can often catch yourself in the act of negative thinking (or what many Law of Attraction people call "gremlin thoughts"). Once you catch yourself, you can make a conscious decision to pivot to a better feeling place. (even if it is ever so slight of an improvement in how you feel -- an improvement is still moving up the vibrational scale and is a good thing!).

3) Stop beating up on yourself! Oh, this is a biggie. Once we start to learn about the Law of Attraction, we can get down on ourselves for "knowing better" and thinking that "we should be more positive". Sometimes, you just have to let yourself feel what you feel and then move on. (Like I mentioned in the previous post where I asked the question "Is Positive Thinking a bunch of Hooey?!") Bottom line, be kinder to you. Allow yourself to feel your emotions. And then start becoming a deliberate creator by reaching for relief, reaching for that better feeling by turning your focus to something else that makes you feel good OR by telling yourself a different story about your life situation.

Some of this Law of Attraction material seems like the same message, and honestly it is. If it could be summed up in two words it would be "FEEL GOOD" or "BE HAPPY" or "LOVE LIFE". And yet, many of us have the equation all backwards. We think that the way we will FEEL GOOD or LOVE LIFE is when our goals and dreams are manifested. But that's not the way it works. That's why I started my Lovin' Life Coaching business in the first place ... to teach people how to be Lovin' Life NOW so that any of their dreams and desires can unfold with ease!

From that happier place (which is ALWAYS found within), that is where we can create miracles in our lives.

Law of Attraction Tip: When You Feel like you Missed the Boat on that Opportunity!

I am sure you have felt this way where you really wanted to attract something in your life, possibly a new job or meet that ideal mate, and you feel like you missed the boat on that opportunity. Maybe you missed a call or someone contacted that person prior to you and now that other person is "hooked up" with someone else.

You know the feeling. It's one where you feel like "oh crap, I didn't get there on time!" or "I didn't take action quick enough!"

If you come from that place of "there are an infinite number of paths that I can achieve my goals", then you don't put so much weight on that one opportunity that you feel like you missed. Because there are so many more opportunities on their way to you, if you allow them to come by believing in the abundance of them.

Our dreams can unfold in so many different ways. We don't have to figure it all out. We just have to believe in our dreams and know that they are a given. Then, if we just take inspired action steps, all the rest of the steps will unfold naturally and organically so that it doesn't have to feel so "hard" to live our dreams.

And the biggest lesson here is to flip the story you tell yourself to one that feels good. If you tell the story of "I missed that boat" and then choose to embrace that your desire is not going to come to you because you didn't do something you "should have" done, that feels like crap! And feeling bad is DEFINITELY not going to bring you what you want in life.

Believe in those infinite number of paths and next time you catch yourself say "I missed that boat", tell yourself "that's OK, cause another one is coming!"

How to Feel Good when you Don't Feel Good!

As a Law of Attraction Coach and Teacher, I get this question asked to me often: "But how am I supposed to feel good, when I don't feel good?!"

First watch my video reply to this popular question (which is being aired on Fox News tonight) and then I will get into it a little more on this blog post:





So, there you have it ... it is all about your FOCUS! Here's what I have learned about that:

The more you focus on what you don't want and what makes you feel bad about a situation or your life, the more you will attract into your life that which you don't want. That's the way the Law of Attraction works. I know you get this concept. Because when life sucks, it sucks, doesn't it? It seems like you keep on attracting those bad things into your life and you think "when is it going to stop!" I have heard many people say "it comes in threes" -- they say that about the bad things only. Have you ever heard that one? I am sure you have. Well, that's just a belief and a story and not THE TRUTH -- it is just something you are buying into. What if we chose to believe that good things come in threes or that good things can keep on coming (no limit to the number). Can you see the difference in how that new belief feels?

So, you need to change your focus. Focus on what is positive in your life. Focus on what you want to happen in your life. Talk about the way you want it to be, instead of continuing to complain about the way it is. Because if you continue to complain about the way it is, that is definitely NOT going to bring you what you want. You will just keep on experiencing more life events that make you feel bad and prove to you that you don't have the life you want!

In the video, I talk about building your WANT muscles ... try it today. Start talking about the way you want it to be. Let me give you an example from my own life that will help you to see how to pivot from the "DON'T WANT" to the "WANT":

When I was diagnosed with MS a while ago, it would have been real easy to focus on what I didn't want and the symptoms I was having and to focus on a future that I didn't want. But instead (after I had my initial moment of crying after hearing the diagnosis), I decided to focus on what I did want - which was perfect health. I even made a decision that the diagnosis was going to be "just a bump in the road". And when those symptoms came up, I took my focus off what wasn't feeing good physically and turned it to what felt good in my life -- even if it meant that I had to shift to another area of my life. I also started telling the story to my friends and family that one day I would be off a drug therapy and feeling great again. I didn't know HOW that was going to happen, I just decided and focused on the way I wanted it to be, not the way that I didn't want it to be. And you guessed it, I am now living the way I want it to be! And it was all because I built my "I WANT" muscles and kept on focusing on what felt good!
